I always recommend we move forward as planned as long as the weather poses no danger and is possible to shoot in. We can't choose the weather, but we can choose to dance in it. Sunsets are actually best with some overcast! I wouldn't need to reschedule for clouds, snow, no snow, things like that... but I'm not gonna make you go out in a storm. I have more on weather related rescheduling and rescheduling in general outlined in the service agreement.
HEYYYOOO, you're speaking to a former flight attendant here. I'd love to meet you where you are. I cover ground transportation up to 45 roundtrip total from me in Spokane and am always down to book a flight if needed. The best way to find out how further locations work is to send an inquiry form with the deets.
Turnaround time depends a bit on the season's workload, but I always keep you updated. For regular sessions, I estimate 2-3 weeks to receive your gallery. Brides can expect to have theirs within 4-5 weeks and a hardcopy on a personalized USB mailed soon after.
For weddings, venues and photographers are the quickest to get booked, so get in there asap! For sessions, booking at least 2-3 months in advance will give you more days to choose from and time to get your plans together. Fall is the fastest booking season, so plan ahead as much as possible.
Nope, and trust me, you won't need or want 'em. You should love and trust your photographer 100%, including their editing style. My edits are part of my artistic identity and each photo I deliver is held to my highest standard. Every photographer's style is different so make sure to look through my portfolios so you know what to expect!
Whether a wedding or other session, I split the package total into two easy payments for you. The first is a secured, digital retainer that counts towards the total and is made at the time of booking to reserve the date and service just for you. After the retainer is completed, the invoice is always open should you choose to pay off the remainder little by little before the due date of the final payment.
I do light retouching that doesn't require Photoshop. I want you to look how you normally look, but I can work with a blemish here and there, bugs floating around, things like that. I can do some further retouching for a fee, so if you have foreseeable concerns, just go ahead and make 'em known. I don't change bodies, remove key elements, double chins from laughin' so hard, etc. We're going for authentically you!
I don't regularly offer mini sessions. I truly don't believe I can get to know you in the way that creates unique-to- you photos in less time than I offer. I've found that people really start warming up and showing more of their usual personality after the first 15 minutes, and that's when the best images are created. This is natural, storytelling photography that happens when you're comfortable with me and the environment.
